Hazumu had always been rather effeminate, as far as boys goes. He was shy, quiet and had a love of gardening. It was his interest in plants that allowed him to meet his friend, Yasuna. Spending almost all his spare time with her, he starts to develop feelings for Yasuna, but when he finally musters up the courage to confess, she politely turns him down. Deeply hurt by his rejection and needing to clear his head, Hazumu goes for a walk in the forest to be with the flowers he loves. But fate decides to have a little fun with Hazumu. As he stands on a cliff over looking his town, an out of control space ship comes plummeting through the atmosphere, crushing poor Hazumu. The aliens inside are able to save his soul, but unfortunately, not his body. So they do the next best thing and replicate him a new one.  There’s just one problem: they accidentally reverse his gender. They promptly apologize to the planet for any inconvenience and send Hazumu back to Earth, new body and all. Thus begins the story of Hazumu Osaragi and his new life as a girl.
