.: Overview :.
In a nutshell, this project will entail a
total re-audio-edit of the original hit Anime, KashiMashi.
To do this, the entire audio track from the show is being thrown
out and a totally new one is being made through the help of
English speaking voice actors and with new sound effects and
music too!
Speaking of music, our ranks are overflowing
with talent! The main opening theme is performed by Alyssa
Atherton, and the closer is done by Cynthia. Supporting
musicians include Greg Kundolf, Attracted to Miss and Redeeming
Phoebe.
Since the inception, the format has changed
for several reasons including feasibility and traceability.
The show now airs exclusively on YouTube and Every three to four
weeks a new segment is aired. Each episode is broken into
three segments.
.: About the Original KashiMashi ~ Girl
Meets Girl ~ :.
Kashimashi (actually Kasi Masi) is the
story of Hazumu. Hazumu was a boy who was in love with the
quiet and reserved Yasuna. However, one day, she turned him
down and subsequently, Hazumu became involved in a freak
accident which changed him from a boy to a girl.
Now, with
a new body and the same friends, a story breaks out
surrounding the readjustment to life as a girl for Hazumu.
However, there is also the question of love... Yasuna now
finds that she feels more comfortable with Hazumu and looks
to seek a relationship with him. But what of Tomari,
Hazumu's lifelong friend?
I know this is a very brief synopsis, but for anyone who
didn't see everything yet, I don't want to ruin it for
them. :)
The story is available in Manga published by 7 Seas
Entertainment, and also on the screen with 3 DVD's.
Unfortunately, the English Anime release was only with
Japanese Audio and English Subtitles. This is why we are
doing this project.
.: The Real Kashima, Japan :.
Kashima city is located 80km east of Tokyo, the
capital of Japan, and that is located the
southeast-end of Ibaraki prefecture, and The area is
about 93 square km. Because Kashima city faces the
Pacific Ocean and that is effected by the Japan
Current ,It is least temperature-difference between
summer and winter. The average of
summer-temperature is about the same as Nagano
City's and The average of winter-temperature is
about the same as Kumamoto City's. So, there is
little snowfall. It is a mild oceanic climate
throughout four-seasons.
At present Kashima is well known to people all over
the country as a hometown of Kashima Antlers. Along
the streets of Kashima, flags and pennants are
everywhere. Not only Kashima Stadium, but also the
Antlers Clubhouse is attracting people. So it has
enlivened the atmosphere of the city and has been
making the city flourish. On the other hand, the old
shinto shrine Kashima Jingu is sitting solemnly in
the precincts surrounded by dense trees. and the god
of mertial arts is worshipped there.

Kashima Jingu Shrine is said to
have been founded in Kouki Gannen (660 B.C.) and it
is one of the three shrines which are the most
famous in the Kanto region. The shrine is dedicated
to the god, "Takemikazuchino Ohkami". "Rohmon" of
this shrine is colored beautifully in red, and is
also one of the biggest gateways in Japan. This main
sanctuary (honden) in which a sacred symbol called "shintai"(God's
soul) is enshrined has been registered as a national
important cultural asset. 10-minute walk from JR
Kashima Jingu Station.
