.: PROJECT NEWS :.
.: 12/14/08 - Quieting Down...
Before I get to anything else, I wanted to just say that today
is the anniversary of the Premiere of episode 1 of KashiMashi
EFD! One year ago, the show was launched exclusively on
this site, and then later on Youtube! Since then, it has
hit over Twenty-Two Thousand views and has had over 100 ratings!
Thank you to all the staff and the fans who made that possible!
Now, as the end of the year approaches, things are quieting down
a little bit. Though there is still the Blooper reel to be
released on Christmas Day, that will be about it for this year.
So in case I don't make it back here this year, I wanted to let
you know of some things to expect for next year! In
January we will be releasing the first KMEFD Audio Drama
exclusively here on this site. There will also be Episode
6 coming very early in the year. Also, if we ever find a
voice for Naruto, our Naruto special will be airing in April of
2009.
With so many things to come, there is a lot of prep work to be
done. So with that said, if I don't talk to you before
hand, have a happy, and please have a SAFE holiday!
Cheers!
.: 11/30/08 - 12 Days to go...
Well, there is 12 days until the finally of episode five...
I wonder what will happen! Make sure to tune in on the
12th to find out!
I have had a few quesitons about the Audio Drama banner and to
explain in short, that is a special release that the cast has
put together for the fans... It will be available for
download here on this site and may have a very special release
on YouTube with some video??? We'll see... Watch for
that soon in 2009!
Finally this week, I am proud to announce our second Anime
Convention invitation! Anime Milwaukee on February 27th!
There are still several details to be worked our, so stay
tuned...
See you next week!
.: 11/15/08 - Donations and Naruto...
Awesome special thanks to Kohta from Massachusetts for his huge
donation bringing us halfway to our goal! Only 15 days
left to hit our target. Help us make it by clicking on the
donations link at the top of the page.
We have green lit a new project that will premiere in 2009.
It is a special, never before released in America Naruto
episode. The show will feature music by
Attracted To Miss. We still need to find a voice that
sounds like Naruto. Do you have that voice? If so
send us a voice test right away to
kashimashi@kanespace.net!
Finally, do you have a special or favorite moment from the first
five episodes? If so, please visit the
forum and let us know! At the end of the year, we will
be counting down the viewers most favorite moments from the
fandub!
.: 11/09/08 - Not Much Happening...
Well, there isn't a whole lot to update
on this week. Just plugging away at the show.
I would like to bring up once again that
we are currently looking for people who have voices that
sound like the Naruto characters (Naruto, Sasuke, Konahomaru).
If you think yours does, then send us an audition super
fast! Auditions must be in MP3 format and under 3MB in
size. E-Mail them to
kashimashi@kanespace.net.
.: 11/02/08 - Donations and
Schedule
As we started to discuss last week, we have started a
donation drive. The first week was slow but
successful. For the Month of November, we are
working to collect $62 for our upcoming website costs.
A special thank you to Tien Dao of Massachusetts for
getting the ball rolling with a whopping $10 start!
Be sure to check out the
Donations page!
In other news, we are in Post Production already for 5b
and working to finish 5C, and set to make our scheduled
releases!
.: 10/26/08 - A Schedule &
Finances
At this point we can definitely give you dates for our
next two releases.
- 11/14/08 @ 8PM - Episode 5B
- 12/12/08 @ 8PM - Episode 5C
Both will air (as usual) exclusively on YouTube.
With that said, I want to take a moment to talk about
the cost that this project entails. Since heading
the project now for over a year, the cost has exceeded
$1000. Now, that may seem small, but when it is
paid for out of pocket, it gets tough.
I say this because I know that times continue to be
tough financially across the globe. However, we do
have some immediate fees coming up soon and that brings
me to asking for everyone who enjoys the show, and wants
to help out even a little, to send us a donation.
If only 31 people donated $2.37 each, we could pay our
web costs for the next year. So this is our
current goal and our hope is to hit this mark by
November 30th!
So please help us out on our first ever KMEFD donation
drive! Click here
for more info!
~ Check back next week for more updates!
.: 10/19/08 - Episode 5b is on
its Way!
WE MADE IT! Episode 5a was finally completed and
successfully launched. Since then, work has
continued on 5B and 5C and the recording sessions are
well underway.
I would like to welcome Damien Emms to our Voice Acting
Crew and his input on the show also makes him an asset
to the production team as well. Welcome aboard
dude!
Also, as some of you may have noticed, Sora in episode 5
is being played by Matt again. Unfortunately Dan
has been way busy with other life things. Although
Dan may come back at some point, MANY SUPER THANKS to
Matt for taking this role once again!
If you are looking for a date for 5b, roughly I would
say about November 14th, with 5c coming around
Thanksgiving. These are rough dates though so
don't hold us to it, but we will update more next week
on progress!
~ cheers!
.: 10/13/08 - Episode 5 is Still
to Come!!!
WE MADE IT! Episode 5a is coming this FRIDAY the 17th!
The last few changes are being done and it will be up. Maybe even
Thursday if we can!
Enough for now. I will have a slew of updates next weekend.
~ cheers!
.: 09/29/08 - Episode 5 is Still
to Come!!!
I cannot stress enough to those who have asked or
messaged, the project is still up and running. We
have just really hit a couple bad spots in production
and because of that, we have not been able to get
episode 5 out yet.
I also want to take a moment and note that Dan Brace,
who has done a wonderful job playing Sora has gracefully
bowed out of the show. He will surely be missed.
We will have a new episode real soon, so stay tuned, K?
~ cheers!
.: 09/14/08 - Slowing Down
Things have slowed to a halt. Unfortunately, with
some not getting their lines in, we have been unable to
keep pace.
Furthermore, without a script writer, we don't have new
scripts ready either to work ahead from.
Because of the need for a script writer
being so important, I am going to offer up a free full
length download of any of our completed episodes for
writing just one script. This means that not only
do you get your name in the credits, but you can also DL
one full episode in English of your choice! Check
out the openings page for details on how it is done and
help us out!
Well, instead of typing on here, I am gonna get back to
working on the show. You can always e-mail if you have
any questions.
kashimashi@kanespace.net
See you next week!
.: 09/07/08 - It's all well...
First off, I want to let everyone know that we HOPE to
have the first installment of episode 5 complete by
9/19. This date is also my birthday so there is
some significance to it! XD
Also, WE ARE IN NEED Of a new SCRIPT WRITER. Check
out the Openings page for that information if you are
interested!
Well, instead of typing on here, I am gonna get back to
working on 5a! You can always e-mail if you have
any questions.
kashimashi@kanespace.net
See you next week!
.: 08/24/08 - It's all well...
Response to Hali Christman as the new Hazumu has been great! Hali
is super excited to work more on the project and thus, work has
begun on episode 5.
Been spending a lot of time watching the olympics lately and
cheering on my favorite Gymnast, Shawn Johnson. So, project work
will begin to pick back up again this week.
Until next time, Cheers!
.: 08/17/08 - Sad Announcement...
Tabitha Southall will no longer be playing the role
of Hazumu. There were many factors that played into this decision
and though it is saddening, it is for good reasons. Tabi will pick
up other small roles in future shows, but for now is taking some
time for school and work. Tabi will be greatly missed as the voice
of Hazumu, but the show must go on.
With
that said, tentatively I am announcing Hali Christman,
who will take over the role of Hazumu. From close by in upstate NY,
Hali has done a small part in 4a as Track Girl 2. Her excitement
and enthusiasm will help to move us past such a big loss.
More info on Hali
here.
We will be working super hard this week to finish up production on
4B and 4C with Hali on board and the episodes are planned to air on
the 22nd and 29th, respectively!
Congratulations Shawn Johnson
on your Silver in the Individual All-Around!

Bring us home some more!
.: 08/10/08 - Missing...
Our hopes for putting out Episode 4B by August 15th are not going to
happen. As of now, Hazumu has gone missing. Rest assured that once we
find her, we will wrap up the rest of episode 4 ASAP!
As always, the best way to get notified of when new eps are coming is to
check the site, or subscribe to our YouTube page (and if you don't know
how to get there, check out the link at the top right side of this
page!).
Well, that's all for now! See you in a week!
.: 08/03/08 - Keeping Up A Solid
Pace...
Well, the new episode is up, and 4B should be premiering by the 15th.
If it is done sooner, we will certainly put it up before hand so you
don't have to wait.
As always, the best way to get notified of when new eps are coming is to
check the site, or subscribe to our YouTube page (and if you don't know
how to get there, check out the link at the top right side of this
page!).
Well, that's all for now! See you in a week!
.: 07/27/08 - Moving Along
Still working at it... But it is really close!
We just have a few fixups for 4a and then it will be up. In the
meantime we have been working vigorously on 4b, so these eps will start
coming through super fast!
Also, as of today, Sabrina Zemanek is no longer playing the role of
Namiko Tsuki. Her schedule has kept her from being as involved as she
wanted to be. She may appear in future eps in small roles.
However, the very talented and super versatile Esther Nho has taken the
role to a whole new level. You will see what I mean when 4a premieres.
Finally, I cannot stress enough that as I have said in a few updates in
the past, the project is still very much alive and will have new
episodes shortly.
.: 07/13/08 - My Apologies...
Before I get to the part about why I suck so bad, let me
first formally welcome Stephen Yates to the Project. Stephen joins us
from across the pond in the UK. Right now, he will be taking a major
load of the responsibilities for writing the scripts. He will also be
doing some voices in upcoming eps!
Now, on to why I suck!
I need to take a moment to sincerely
apologize for the lack of new shows. Whether it has been something in
my life or one of our voice staff not being available, the project has
fallen way behind it's originally anticipated deadlines. It is not for
a lack of trying though, that is for sure!
In a nutshell, all three parts of KashiMashi Episode 4 ARE
in the works. Part A is missing a few voices and then it will launch.
Part B is moving along and C is as well.
One of the main things holding up Part A is the Teacher
role, Namiko Tsuki. The actress may come through this
week, HOWEVER, in the mean time I am open to anyone who is willing to
give it a shot. When this project started a year ago, I knew there
would be sometimes when it became necessary to switch up the talent for
one reason or another.
So, if anyone is willing to take on this role, Please E-Mail
me ASAP at
kashimashi@kanespace.net. I will provide you with your
lines and we will see what we can work out.
As I said a few updates in the past, the project is still
very much alive and will have new episodes shortly.
LOST UPDATES IN HERE!!!
.: 05/18/08 - Ready to Go!
We are right on schedule to air the finale of Episode 3 on Friday.
In other news, due to a heavy work schedule for me through the end of
May, the project will take just a short 2 week break, and return to full
operation on June 2nd, where we will work to pump out Episode 4. At
this time we are looking to have Episode4 completed by the end of July
which would be really nice to finish a full episode in 2 months rather
than three.
I will try to have updates on the weeks off, but if not, check back on
June 6th for an update on the airing of 4a.
Make sure to tune in on Friday at 10PM EST for the finale of
episode 3!
.: 05/11/08 - Happy Mother's Day
Right on track for the finale
for Episode 3 to premiere on May 23rd.
Furthermore, we are slowly beginning work on Episode 4.
It is our hope that Episode for will be completed by the end
of July.
Make sure you check back next week for the announcement of
something really fun!
Have a nice week, and be sure to wish your Mom a Happy
Mother's Day!
.: 05/03/08 - 3B is Live!
Yes, that is right. Episode 3B is live on
Youtube right now. You can get there by clicking on
the link to the right. Be sure to check it out and
give it a good rating.
We are looking to air the finale for Episode 3 on May 23rd.
We will be able to judge that a little better next week but
we are already getting close.
Have a nice week, and be sure you water the tree you planted
for Arbor Day!
.: 04/27/08 - Finally!
Well, we may have finally gotten our technical issues
solved and Episode 3A has went live on YouTube! Be
sure to stop by and check it out.
In other news, 3B is very near completion and should
hopefully air next week on May 2nd! If for some reason
it does not, it will be there May 9th for sure, but plan for
May 2nd.
Have a nice week, and be sure you water the tree you planted
for Arbor Day!
.: 04/18/08 - Falling Behind...
But Staying on Track
The string of technical issues has
continued to surround some of our staff. So we are
still waiting on the release of Episode 3a.
On a brighter note though, 3b is just
about complete and will air shortly after 3a does. So
we are staying close to on track, but falling a bit behind.
To make it up to you, we are posting a
very special teaser here just for you all who are dying for
the new eps. This scene stars our very talented Esther
Nho playing Yasuna. The scene occurs after she walks
away from Hazumu and is torn. Music by Greg Kundolf,
and background effects by none other than Me! XD
Enjoy!
.: 04/06/08 - Falling Short...
Unfortunately, some of our staff have became plagued with technical
issues the past couple weeks and therefore we are unable to complete
Episode 3a on time. We hope to have it ready by April 18th, but at
this point will not set a definite deadline.
However, it has became apparent that we should be able to complete
the whole of episode 3 by then end of May. So, with that in mind,
we will be pumping out a number of parts in succession very shortly.
We have a quick opening for a waitress right now. For details,
check the openings page.
Sorry for the bad news this week. Check back next week for some
hopefully better news!
~ cheers ~ XD
.: 03/30/08 - Episode 3 Nears
Completion
We have hit a few hiccups with our voice staff, but
we are still trying to remain confident that Episode 3 will premiere on
time - April 11th, 2008.
On an off note though, an executive decision has been
made to hold off on going forward with the Macross Zero FanDUB Project
at this time. It will eventually come to fruition, however we want
to focus our best efforts on KMEFD at this time.
Right now, keep in mind that we
still have a few openings for some secondary roles. If you are
interested, PLEASE
CONTACT US
IMMEDIATELY! There is limited time and limited parts.
~ Cheers
.: 03/18/08 - Nothing new
No major update this week. To be honest, I am
working my Butt off on scripts.
Switching servers next week and we will be down the
24th - 25th. Maybe sooner, so if you stop by and we are not
here... Just think that we went to the store for eggs.
~ Rock!
.: 03/09/08 - SNOWED IN!
Well, if you haven't heard yet, our Con premiere was
canceled unfortunately to a heavy storm system that was moving into
Amherst. The Con had to be shut down 75 minutes before we went on.
I would like to thank Annie for inviting us and
keeping us happy, and for inviting us back at a future date to be set.
We know you had no control over it and it is NOT your fault.
On the brighter side of things, since the premiere
didn't occur when it should have, Episode 2C will be live on YouTube
ASAP! Please comment and enjoy.
~cheers~
.: 03/02/08 - Home Stretch!
I really need to thank all of the staff for coming
together so quickly and helping me finish parts B & C so quickly right
at the end!!! I couldn't have done it without all of you!
So, yes, parts B & C are so near completion, it is
unreal. We are in post-production for both. For those of you
who have waited so patiently for part B on YouTube, I can tell you that
it will be there before NEO Noh-Con. Part C will appear at the
convention this week as anticipated in a more theatrical way.
If you would like to see the episodes, Uncut and
Full, please join us at NEO Noh-Con. You can get information by
clinking the link at the top of the page. Show time is at 6pm.
Hope to see you there!
AGAIN... I REALLY need some help with doing these
scripts. If anyone want to volunteer for this and/or the new
project, you will be greatly welcomed aboard and duly credited.
~cheers~
And as for that big announcement, it is Macross ZERO.
That's right. To see a quick preview, check out our YouTube page.
Production will not be beginning until closer to summer time, but if you
are interested, please send us a message.
.: 02/17/08 - Moving Right Along
Ack... Sorry that I have been apparently absent
recently. I have been working a lot of extra hours and it doesn't
seem to be slowing down.
I have gotten the script for Ep 2C completed and it
can be found in the Forum for those of you with access.
I REALLY need some help with doing these scripts.
If anyone want to volunteer for this and/or the new project, you will be
greatly welcomed aboard and duly credited.
We are probably gonna miss our mark for Friday the
22nd for the premiere of part B as there has been a lot of prep work
going into the upcoming convention. Hopefully we will be ready
with part B for the 29th on YouTube and then of course part C will
premiere exclusively at Neo Noh-Con on March 7th. It will appear
on YouTube on the 14th, but for those of you who want a great show, join
us at Neo Noh-Con where you can view the first two episodes completely
and in their entirety on the big screen.
Show time is at 6pm. Hope to see you there!
~cheers~
p.s. - And as for that big announcement on the
next project... You will have to wait a little while longer.
XD
.: 02/03/08 - Moving Right Along
Well, we are on track for this
coming Friday. The premiere of episode 2 on Youtube.com.
Tentatively,
Part B should hopefully also be done soon so look for that on February
22nd.
The offer is still out there for anyone who would
like to work with the project by writing the scripts. It is a
fairly easy task, but just takes some time to be able to do, of which I
am always running short on.
If you are interested in contributing music to the show, you can submit
your work to us at
kashimashi@kanespace.net.
Something simple and quaint with piano and such would be nice.
If you need reference, watch the original show and that will give
you some ideas.
Also, I have taken the plunge and invested another
$300 into the project that I really didn't have for some software
upgrades. So, if you have money laying around, feel free to use
that DONATE button to the left!
I am hoping next week to make a big announcement of
another project I am going to be working on, that will run concurrently
with this one. I promise it will be AWESOME!
~cheers~
.: 01/27/08 - Moving Right Along
Wow! Really sorry about no
update last week. Life has
been hectic and so has the project.
I find sometimes that when I am really focused I will
unfortunately let other things go.
This was the case last week as I was very enthralled in the
background audio for Episode 2, parts A and B.
Needless to say, Part A’s BG audio is completed and all of the
voices have just about been done so we are on track for February 8th.
Furthermore, Part B should hopefully also be done soon so look
for that on February 22nd.
The Script for Episode 2, Part B can now be found in the forum in the
staff section. Speaking of
being overly involved, I have found myself writing the scripts again
since Jess has stepped out of the project (for unknown reasons).
So anyone who would be interested in scripting can send me a
message.
I am putting out another request for music.
Basically the show needs some that is happier, but without vocals
for the backgrounds in some scenes.
If you are interested, you can submit your work to us at
kashimashi@kanespace.net.
Something simple and quaint with piano and such would be nice.
If you need reference, watch the original show and that will give
you some ideas.
Outside of that, we could still use some extra voice actors and
actresses for extra slots.
There are several bit parts that you can voice and really become a part
of the project. This also
opens the door, should one of the main characters ever drop out.
I will really try to make sure to have an update next Sunday on the 3rd,
but if not, come back February 8th in the evening for the
premiere of episode 2!
~cheers~
.: 01/13/08 - One Down, Twelve to Go!
Well, we have finally finished the first episode.
Going back to the first news report in late July, it has been
about half a year in the making…
However, WE FINALLY DID IT!
We have completed our core staff of Actors and Actresses for now.
The latest joining was Deni-Carington-king, who has taken the
role of Jan-Puu. Also,
special thank you to Alicia Pamperin who graciously accepted the role of
Mrs. Osaragi under the direction of Matt.
There are still some small and semi-recurring parts available.
For anyone who is interested, please shoot me over an e-mail with
your gender, so I know what to send you over to read!
Work continues on episode 2!
Right now the premiere is set for February 8th, but if
possible, we will pump that out by the first!
See you next week!
.: 01/06/08 - Happy?? New Year
Welcome back to the KashiMashi English FanDUB Project! Really
sorry about not having an update last week, but I had some life stuff
going on and there wasn't a whole lot to update.
For the time being, Danni has agreed to take the role
of Mrs. Osaragi so that we can meet our next episode deadline.
Though, the project is greatly in need of a female to play Mrs. Osaragi
(Hazumu's mother). We need this person immediately so that we can finish
the bulk of the second half. If you would like to try out, send me a
message VERY QUICKLY!!!
Also, I have a few bit parts left open for Males. Contact me ASAP!
I want to take a moment and thank Greg Kundolf who is
a very talented artist who has been sharing his compositions with the
project. His music is in the opening sequence of the first
episode. Thank you so very much Greg!
The script for Episode 2, part A is now in the forum.
The premiere of part 2 will happen next week come hell
or high water! Check in on Friday, around 8pm EST. It will
be available on YouTube.
See you next week!
.: 12/23/2007 - New Staff and Help?!?!?!
Welcome back to the KashiMashi English FanDUB Project!
It has been 9 days since the last update, so I have a few things to talk
about!
To start off this week, there have been some significant project
changes. But first there are some important staffing changes to note!
The project is greatly in need of a female to play Mrs. Osaragi (Hazumu's
mother). We need this person immediately so that we can finish the bulk
of the second half. If you would like to try out, send me a
message VERY QUICKLY!!! If you are in
the mood of wanting more to play the teacher, Namiko, I could do some
last minute shifting of personnel, but if I don't have to, I would
rather not.
Also, I have a few bit parts left open for Males. Contact me ASAP!
Jess has taken over the script writing piece of the
Project which will save me a lot of time that I can dedicate to other
areas of the project! THANKS JESS!
There are also new staff this week, including Sabrina Zemanek from
Upstate NY, and also Dan Brace who joins us from across the pond in the
UK! He will be taking over the role of Sora Hotoshi for the remainder of
the series and I will be shifting over to play the perverted Mr. Osaragi!
Believe me, it is not that far of a stretch... XD But, thank you to the
both of you for coming aboard and joining us.
On to format changes:
Initially, we had anticipated to have each episode split in two, and
host them here. However, since we are lacking certain measures in
traceability and upkeep, the video's will now be hosted exclusively on
YouTube. Furthermore, to meet the stringent requirements, the episodes
will now be broken into 3 episodes each. Part two of episode one will
still premiere on the 11th of January, but will be in the new format, so
a small portion of part one, will be in the new part two, and there will
also be a part three premiering on the same day!
In anticipation of NEO Noh-Con, we will also work our butts off to
finish episode two by March 6th!
To everyone out there, Please have a happy and SAFE Holiday!
See you next week!
.: 12/14/2007 - KMEFD Episode 1, Part 1

Well, it is Premiere night. The episode will
remain up past tonight, so if it is slow runnin, there may be a lot
already checking it out. So you can always stop back again later,
or in the days to come.
Please, if you watch the show, please stop by the forum and comment
on it. Even if it is just a short one liner, let us know you
checked it out and what you thought!
Spread the word about the show. We still need a few spots for
the next episodes.
See you Next Sunday!!!!

.: 11/18/2007 - NEW FACES & A RELEASE DATE?
Good Sunday! I am so happy to write this section this week.
There is so much to talk about in Project news!
To start off, I would like to welcome Esther Nho to
the project. She will be playing Yasuna and has already completed
her work on Episode 1, Part 1. Furthermore, she completed the long
awaited lineup for casting of the first part. Wait until you hear
what she can do!
I am also announcing officially the Premiere date for Episode 1, Part
1. On December 14th you can come here and view the show in all
it's glorious English Language!
The project did have anticipated music to use for the
show, but coming to the realization that the project is independent, how
great would it be to have independent musical talent feature their
music?! So, I have asked a few musicians that I know already, but
would love to hear other work and consider it for the show. You
can e-mail an MP3 with a short Bio information to
kashimashi@kanespace.net.
The script is almost done for Part 2 and will be available by next
Sunday for Staff.
See you next Sunday!
.: 11/11/2007
Not much to report by way of the Project. I am really just
waiting for the files now from the staff. We have been joined by
Heather Eglin who has voiced "Track Girl" in Ep 1-1, and will do other
fill-in parts later on in the series.
The script for Ep 1-2 is in the works. Look for that to be
complete within two weeks. Also, the process of remixing the audio
has begun for this episode.
Hopefully by next Sunday, we will have an anticipated release date
for Episode 1-1.
.: 11/04/2007
So the project was moving along slowly, but has picked up speed
again. The background audio track for episode 1-1 has been
completed and voice pieces are being added. With any luck, 1-1
will be complete before Christmas!
I have already begun work on Episode 1-2, while we
await the rest of the parts to be filled. There are two main
openings left which are Tomari and Yasuna. Hazumu will be played
as a male by Matt Kohls and then as a female by Tabitha Southhall.
Welcome to both of you! Matt will also take on the role of Austa
for the remainder of the series.
Watch for a pretty cool promo to be released soon!
.: 08/19/07 - Waiting...
Waiting, waiting, waiting... Just waiting for more voice actors
to fall from the sky... I want to thank all of those who have
e-mailed already saying that they were interested, but if you know
someone who would like to voice act, please clue them in and send them
our way so we can get this project going. The script is set for
Episode 1-1 and I have started a lot of the BG sound stuff. That
is about it for now.
.: 08/12/07 - MySpace Launched...
Wow, have I been way too busy at work and stuff. For those of
you who don't know, I am an investigator for my County focusing on CPS.
Lot's of difficult cases lately. I hope it slows down soon so I
can play more with the project. Never fear though, I will always
be around working on something, just may take some time!
Jess and I thought it would be a good idea to launch a MySpace Page
to help gather some more interest. Please check it out through the
link page and let us know what you think! Oh yeah, the Link page
is up and running too! :) ~cheers
.:
08/02/07 - Warm Welcome!!!
FIRST OFF, I want to give a long overdue welcome to
Jessica Holladay who has been assisting with the site and who will play
the voice of Ayuki in the KashiMashi FanDUB! Thank you so much for
coming aboard. She has written up the character Bio's that you
will see very soon, so be sure to check them out! On the otherside
of the coin, I haven't done much. Life has been really crazy at
work (where I pretty much live) and I am on-call all weekend long.
SUCKS! At any rate, I will start some updates between
investigations this weekend.
.:
07/28/07 - Script One Complete
Finally the script for Episode 1 part 1 has been
completed and posted. That took a longer time than I thought.
I am hoping it will get a little easier as time goes on.
.:
07/24/07 - Opening and Script
Well, I put together what I think will be a pretty
cool opening sequence. Used a not very known Duncan Sheik song.
I have also done another one with Auf Der Mer. I will post these
in the project section some time at the end of the week. I have
also just about finished up the script for 1-1. Look for it around
Sunday. Positions open right now!
.: 07/22/07 - And it begins!
Here is the start of something pretty sweet!
Outside of the site, I have started writing the "Script" if you could
call it that, also gathered together good clean versions of text-less
video for the show. For future note, these will be posted in the
project section. I also put together a quick promo bump which I
will get in the media section soon.

.: 10/13/08 – Yet to come...
Look for some nice changes and additions to the site
on the 20th!
.: 09/07/08 – Small Changes...
Updated some items around the site including a few of the
character pages and also the Openings section.
A few weeks ago I started work on some other shows and a
parent site to go along with it. For now that has all
been put on hold for a while. The focus will continue
on this show and this site.
In the coming weeks I will start to work on a Media section
of downloadable content for the show. Look for that
around the end of September!
.: 08/17/08 – New Format Coming Up!
September 1st we will launch our parent site here on
Kanespace.NET. The parent site will house information about
production, and other shows. Rest assured that this site for
KashiMashi will remain as the place to get all of you KashiMashi
Information.

.: 07/13/08 – Some Updates...
First off, we have updated the character profiles to include
Dan Brace (sorry that took so long Dan!) and you can also
view his Project video there too!
There is also now a music section where you can find out who
some of the musical artists are that contributed to the
show.
LOST UPDATES HERE!!!
.: 05/11/08 – Trimming Down
With so many other things going on, I am currently
discontinuing the Yuri Listing page. As much as I would like to
continue work on this section, it is just one extra thing that takes
away from the FanDUB's. If anyone would like to write reviews and
update the fans on different Yuri manga and anime, I am open to
suggestions.
Updated a few profiles in the Character's section
this week too.
Have a great week!
.: 04/19/08 – Update coming soon!
Yuri List has been updated, and we have
added Mrs. Osaragi to the Characters section. We will also be again having a
media section for DL's of your favorite KashiMashi stuff.
.: 04/06/08 – Yuri Listing Has Begun!
We have finally launched the Yuri Listing section.
Although it is fairly baron right now, it will fill up in time.
Check it out and if you know of a Yuri you would like to review, send it
over.
We are also continuing to update our character lists
and bio's.
That's all for this week! See you next time!
.: 03/30/08 – A Whole Lotta New!
As you probably noticed, we HAVE launched a new
layout. Furthermore, we are also on a new and more consistent
server.
As work continues on the new site, please keep in mind
that we are still ironing out a few kinks so you may hit a few dead
ends. Sorry! XD
This new layout will allow for easier addition of new
and interesting things that we will be integrating in the coming weeks.
A lot of the main work has been done, but not all of
the characters/staff pages are up yet. These should be done by
next week.
Until next time, enjoy!
.: 03/09/08 – UPDATE On New Site...
Our move to a new host will occur within the next
week or so. Please be aware that at that time, our site will be
down for up to 48 hours, as will e-mail.
You can still view the show on YouTube but out side
of that, we will be down. Further updates to come...
Until next time~~~
.: 02/17/08 – New Site Soon
In the very near future we will be moving the site to
GoDaddy hosting. There we will relaunch our site using some
asp.net framework and incorporate the new project. When that
happens (hopefully in March) we will be down for a few days, but I
promise it will be well worth it!
Still working on the Yuri
Listing Section. It will be coming soon. For more info,
check in the old news.
If you know of a
Yuri that you would like to review, send me a message and let me know.
Your reviews are important.
Until next time~~~
.: 02/03/08 – Odds and Ends
The biggest update this week is we have not one but
two staff videos. The voices of Sora and Namiko are now both up
for viewing in the Viewing Room. CHECK EM OUT!!!
I would like to do an overhaul of the site fairly
soon, and would like some help with it if anyone is interested.
We are taking some
submissions right now for an upcoming section called the “Fan Slice”
which will feature fan work about the show including short stories,
AMV’s and drawings. Anyone
who is interested in sending in their work should do so ASAP.

.: 01/27/08 – Taking Submissions
Yes, that is right.
I am taking some submissions right now for a new section called
the “Fan Slice” which will feature fan work about the show including
short stories, AMV’s and drawings.
Anyone who is interested in sending in their work should do so
ASAP. I would like to
premiere this area in the very near future.
Another neat section
that I have been working on is a “Yuri Listing” section.
This section will contain information on other Yuri that is out
there and available in either DVD or Manga format.
The first two Mangas that I will be reviewing will be The Last
Uniform and then First Love Sisters.
If you know of a Yuri that you would like to review, send me a
message and let me know.
Your reviews are important.
We have taken some
time to update our MySpace Page.
I have also updated the Project page to reflect staff changes.
Next time in the
Viewing Room, you will hopefully see some staff videos about the project
including interviews with Dan Brace, Heather Eglin and more!
Until next time~~~
.: 01/13/08 – Something to report!
There isn’t usually anything to report website wise cause I spend most
of my time working on the audio for the show.
However, this week there are a few items to update.
Deni’s Profile and Esther's profile has been added to the Project
page along with some updated info on the project.
I have also made a minor update to the Viewing room.
Dan Brace will be working on some graphics to help spruce up the place,
so watch for some of those next week!
.: 01/06/08 - Not much goin'...
Not a whole lot to report in Website news. If
you haven't already, stop by the forum and chat a while.
.: 12/23/2007 - Viewing the KMEFD
In web updates, there have been some changes to the
viewing room, where as now it will take you directly to our new Youtube
page. Please, after you have watched, make sure to comment and rate (5
stars please XD)! The more views and ratings, the closer we can get to
the top.
I also plan to start a YURI listing to include books and shows and any
other form of media, but I am not sure if I will work on this solely
through the forum or here on the site.
I greatly apologize for not making so many changes lately, between the
holidays, starting a new job, finishing an old job, and working towards
the completion of the rest of episode one, I barely have time for much
else. Soon though, I promise! XD
Until next week, Cheers!

.: 12/14/2007 - KMEFD Episode 1, Part 1
PREMIERE TONIGHT
Just worked around the site, trying to fix some of the
links and setting up the viewing page. That's about all...
I am super excited about our first episode!
Let's just hope the Server holds up!
P.S. ~ I wanted to take a moment and just give special
thanks to everyone who made this project possible! Esther, Tabi,
Danni, Matt, Jess, Heather... You all made this project something
that would actually come true and work. Thank you all so very much
for everything you have contributed! ~ Cheers!
.: 12/08/2007
Most of the web work this week has focused around the
viewing room and setting up the stream for Episode 1's Premiere next
week. So there isn't a whole lot more going on.
I am super excited about next week! Let's just
hope the Server holds up!
~ Cheers!
.: 12/02/2007
Well, as you may see there are some different changes
going on around the site. To start, the Staff section on the
Project Page has been updated to reflect the current lineup of Episode
1, Part 1.
I have also added a Donate Button to the Left side.
Just so you know, I am NOT looking to make money off of this project at
all! It would help though if I wasn't pouring in so much money (by
March, I plan to have spent about $1500). Therefor the Donate
button has been added, and any proceeds raised will go toward the Web
Hosting costs. If there are any software needs, it will benefit
that too. After that, should there be any additional funds, it
will be re-donated to a worthy charity.
~ Cheers!
.: 11/25/2007
There isn't a whole lot to report as far as website
updates this Sunday. Most of the time lately has been spent
preparing for the upcoming premiere and for Buffalo in 2008.
There have been some minor visual things going on, and
we are also 'maybe' preparing to make some changes to our host.
More to come on that next week.
~ Cheers!
.: 11/18/2007
Welcome back! In website news, we have kinda
changed the name and got rid of the Un-Official part. It just made
more sense.
Updated the Project page with some more staff images
and short Bios. Also added a FS and a WS background to the media
section.
Not a whole lot more to report on the site...
Until next week, Cheers!
.: 11/11/2007
There have been some changes to the site. First
off, I consolidated the About and Characters pages into one, and also
added in some history on Kashima Japan. Secondly, the old project
page has been removed and replaced with a new page that just talks about
the project. I have added some short Voice Actress Bios and more
will be added soon.
For any staff looking for the old project page, e-mail
me and I will send you the link. I will be revamping that too with
an upload section for the files, but it will be staff only.
I will be adding some promotional items to the Media
section so watch for those too!
Until next week, Cheers!
.: 11/04/2007
In Website news, I have updated the forum link to
direct to the new forum hosted by ProBoards. Granted it is very
simple, but for now that is fine until business picks up a little.
I urge you to please visit the Forum and Join up to discuss KashiMashi
with us.
I plan to make some wholesale changes to most of the
site, mostly regarding navigation. Watch for these changes later
today and through the week.
Thanks for visiting!
.: 08/19/07 - New openings and more
Well, there is no resolution to the server issue just
yet, but hopefully soon. The links page is active now and there's
plenty of links there for more stuff if you have any ideas. I have
also added a new opening sequence for episode one. More to come
soon...
.: 08/11/07 - Characters Page Finished
Finished up the character page for now. May add
in some of the background characters at some point, but all of the main
ones are there now! Thanks again to Jess from saving my fingers a
bunch of typing!
.: 07/29/07 - Forum Added plus More!
Added in a button for the forum. PLEASE feel
free to stop by and register and post away. Also added a button
(not working yet) for the Character Pages which Jess has so kindly
agreed to contribute to! Can't wait for that!!!
.: 07/27/07 - Project pages again
More work on "The Project" section. Fixed Jess'
name... XD Added video for EP1-1. Also putting
up a few Ideas for the opening. Check out the different versions
and let me know what looks good.
.: 07/25/07 - Project pages have begun...
Added more work on "The Project" section.
.: 07/23/07 - Updates
Began work on "The Project" section as well as put
together a little blurb into the "About KashiMashi" section.
.: 07/22/07 - And it begins!
Just putting together the main
templates and parts today and will start to post some media and the most
important piece... the INTERESTED section. More to come in
the very near future.
